Na'sha Laqash Budden is an active member of the birth worker community and strives to share knowledge and resources with her immediate circles. She is always looking for ways to grow in her role as nurturer to her fellow sisters. She currently serves as a birth doula and lactation educator. She also partners with organizations like the Mama Glow Foundation and The Creator's School of Midwifery to mentor newly certified birth workers.
Through her own practice, she has created online spaces where mothers across the country can connect and have access to childbirth education and birth/postpartum planning resources.
In her latest partnership with Settlement Health in East Harlem, she coordinates and leads the Family Planning programs that are held for free monthly. These programs cover various topics across the stages of birth and postpartum.
Na'sha began her journey in midwifery studies through an online direct-entry program in 2022 and studied alongside other traditional midwifery students through the Holistic Midwifery program taught by Nubia Earth Martin from Birth from the Earth Inc. In 2023, she enrolled in The Creator's School of Midwifery and is set to complete the Foundation & Advanced Midwifery Intensive Program led by Camille Grant in the Fall of 2024.
